Who We Are
The Colorado Press Association is the Colorado trade association dedicated to the preservation, progression and modernization of the state’s newspaper industry. We are passionate about the importance of the press and the need to provide news and information across all platforms in a responsible, accurate and ethical way.
What We Do
THE COLORADO PRESS ASSOCIATION PROMOTES:
- the general interests of daily and weekly newspapers
- the improvement of editorial and business methods of daily and weekly newspapers
- the advancement of daily and weekly newspapers' usefulness and influence in the public interest
CPA engages in and otherwise promotes research in the newspapers publishing field and makes available to its members the results of such research.
CPA also encourages constantly higher standards of ethics in the newspaper profession, thereby fostering the dissemination of information vital to the public welfare.
Services
The Colorado Press Service is the for-profit arm of the association, which is focused on increasing regional and national advertising sales across all newspaper platforms.

- a complete tearsheet service for clients and will negotiate rates and buys for all newspapers in the state
